  4. You can't do any of the stuff suggested above because the latest version locks Safe Mode too with either a Blue Screen or the ukash banner.
    One way to do it is to put the drive as a slave in a second Pc and scan for an .exe choosing the date it locked the Pc. Once found copy the name before deleting the .exe file. Then scan the registry (Run regedit) for that .exe filename deleting each registry key that contains it (usually found in 'Run' Local Machine & Current User)
    Once you do this re-install the drive back to the original Pc and it should now be fine.
    Finally.. EVERYBODY BOYCOTT UKASH and any other payment method that is supporting these thieves!
